End of the Year Fund-Raisers

Yard Flag Fund-Raiser
All flags are only $5
Profit is 50% !
Money and orders must be turned in by Friday, February 6th.
Checks can be made payable to RVCHORUS

We will be selling Pizza Pub pizzas in March.

Keep in mind that the only need for money for the remainder of this year is to purchase show choir t-shirts and to pay for guests at the the senior banquet. As always, fund-raisers are optional but they are a great way to boost funds for future years, as your money carries over until you graduate. The senior high chorus will be going on a "big trip" next year and each student will probably need somewhere around $500. Its best to earn a little bit of money at a time.

Happy Selling :)

Festivals

The District Chorus Festival took place at Union High School in January 2009. Seven students from our chorus participated in this annual event: H. Campbell, A.Reefer, B. Shreckengost, A. Reefer, K. Cravener, B. Williams, and N. Sovik. Guest conductor for the festival was Dr. Hank Alviani from Clarion University.

Four of these students (H. Campbell, A. Reefer, A. Reefer, N. Sovik) qualified for the Region Chorus Festival. Students needed to place in the top 10 of their voice section to advnace on to the regional level. Congratulations to A. Reefer for getting 1st chair and to H. Campbell for getting 2nd chair!!

If any of these four students place in the top 4 of their voice section at the Region Festival. They will qualify to attend the All-State Festival in Valley Forge, PA this April.

Every other year there is an ALL-EASTERN MUSIC FESTIVAL. Students must participate in All-State Chorus and be a sophomore or junior to quality. In March, H. Campbell will be representing Redbank Valley Chorus & the state of Pennsylvania as she participates in the All-Eastern Choral Festival in Providence, Rhode Island.
